Three PITA Challenge
I have a suggestion for a new alternative challenge...
You may have heard of the Three Peaks Challenge for mountain walkers. This involves climbing the highest peaks in Scotland (Ben Nevis), Wales (Snowdon) and England (Scafell Pike).
I'm suggesting the Three PITA Challenge, simply visiting the three biggest pains in the arse of a full network Challenge: Kensington Olympia, Mill Hill East and Hainault. Usual rules apply. Completing would not be the challenge, achieving a fast time would.
What do you think?

Re: Three PITA Challenge
I'd suggest a minor amendment.
It's not really Hainault that's the problem, it's the section between Woodford and Hainault, so maybe require a visit to one of the stations on that section rather than to Hainault.

I'd also suggest that Chesham, with a train every 30 mins (half as often as MHE, half as long again as the loop) should be included

Re: Three PITA Challenge
The problem is getting to Woodford via Hainault so really you need to ride this specific service all the way through...

Can't see any point in going all the way to High Barnet or messing around with the Overground. Just go MHE - Bank - Roding Valley.

Re: Three PITA Challenge
Oh yes, I was getting to complicated. But what would be quicker, though, if this was to become a record?

Or four (arguably three) trains, using the peak-time MHE trains:greatkingrat wrote:Can't see any point in going all the way to High Barnet or messing around with the Overground. Just go MHE - Bank - Roding Valley.
Ken O Embankment MHE (same train to) TCR Woodford (via Hainault)
I doubt this hooks up to be the quickest route.
