Just wondered what the official position on Non-Tfl buses in use during the Tube Challenge is. If I were to take (hypothetically) the 213 - see route below - from Epping to Waltham Cross (which is a silly idea, I know, but makes a good example), does it count? Only there are some other routes which could come in quite useful...

Re: Non-TfL buses
As long as it is public transport, it is OK, it doesn't matter whether TfL run it or not.

Does an attempt on August 13th interest you? Lots of other competitors, with an Olympia service running.all545londonbuses wrote:Thank you! Tube challenge, here I come...

Re: Non-TfL buses
Unfortunately I'm away on August 13th. Besides I just discovered that if I reverse the route I was planning to take on an exhibition day, I come into Olympia at the right time for one of The Seven. Not sure how well it works for the rest, so perhaps I might go for September 23rd.

Re: Non-TfL buses
Of course you can take ANY scheduled bus route (as long as it runs to a fixed timetable) you wish. Obviously those outside the London system you need to pay for separately as they will not accept Oyster/Travel cards.

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!
Tangy.
