Anyone up for "Tube Relief 2006"?
Hi gang,
Well it seems that lots of people now have the Tube Challenge "bug", thanks to Geoff and Neil.
Soo...Anyone fancy doing another "Tube Relief" some time next year in aid of some worthy charity yet to be decided?
Cheers,
Barry

I'd like it to be a record-attempt thing as well, personally. Please be aware that my views do not represent those of the Tube Challenge community.
Also, it had better not be when I'm on bloody holiday this time!

Ahem.
The idea of Tube Relief was to raise money for the victims of the July bombings.
Any future mass challenge branded "Tube Relief" in any way would have to have a very strong link to that theme.
The idea was not to break the record on that day and nor should it be in the future with any Tube Relief run.
God, get a perspective people.

In all fairness - you requested a reason for doing it, I provided one...
It depends entirely whether it's being done under the banner of 'Tube Relief' - if it is, then it should be a completely charity thing.
My suggestion was
a) a joking matter in response to your post
b) a fair comment of an idea for an event that doesn't fall under the Tube Relief concept but still involves a mass all-stations.

Count me in
Count me in the relief. Let me know ahead of time though cause I have to sweet talk my hubby into letting me go and get the money! Are ya'll considering the summer or the spring months?
Everything is going fine here. We have a new Superintendent and this week we will have moves. I dont know where I will be sent but I will make sure I get the furlough for the event. I sure do miss all of you and wish I could come this January. Airfares are cheap up to March! Happy xmas to all of you and I'll be thinking of ya'll over these holidays. I am still living on the boat and I have started a diet before Thanksgiving. Low carb, working out and stuff. ... doing fine.. Tami

Ow yeah.....
I will be there..... after what happened.
Personally I think 7 July (I know it's a sad day) would be the best date to do it. And Why not take 3 bouquets of flowers with us to place at the 3 stations.
Oh and Tami, although we don't know eachother, I hope everything gets back to normal in Nw Orleans soon (if it will ever be the same as before). I wish you all the best.
Cheers,
