I can get 129 but this does involve staring at Ongar in 1990.
One day I shall return!

Why do I get the feeling this is turning into some sort of version of Mornington Crescent?

Re: Snake challenge Fri 31st Oct
If the Mornington Crescent style snake challenge is over perhaps we can get back on topic....
OK so is everyone happy to meet at Epping for 11:30hrs and follow the 127 route as posted earlier in glorious technicolour in a rally "stylie"
I then suggest me meet up at the Green Man Pub near Hatton Cross to reveal times/results, link as below....

Then those that fancy going on to play at the "Home of Darts" Ashford Sports Club can grab a lift with me and hopefully the soup mobile.......

Re: Snake challenge Fri 31st Oct
Just out of interest, does anybody know roughly how long this challenge will take? (Just to also mention as I don't think I have yet that I will most likely be attending...)

Re: Snake challenge Fri 31st Oct
My estimate would be 6 to 6.5 hours, based on the previous times for the 129 snake, I think the 127 will take slightly longer because of the T5 extension.
One day I shall return!

Perhaps the teams can choose their own variance as long as they do all 127scrxisi wrote:Which variant of the 127 are we doing? I prefer Peter's but makes no odds I guess...

Re: Snake challenge Fri 31st Oct
Unfortunately I won't be able to do this, as I've got to work - can't really take a day off on the week I come back from six weeks of paid absence. It's a shame really, I was planning on doing the whole thing carrying a fake bloodied arm

The Halloween Snake.... James with his bloody arm would have been quite comical.
I will be joining Neil by not being there. For anyone who does successfully make it to Heathrow T5 and avoids all the gouls and goblins I will probably see you at the Green Man once I've finished work.

OK see whoever is coming at Epping at 11:30 am, it will be the 127 "limp" for me as I have sprained my ankle on a kerb and is heavily strapped....
