I just watched a video on their website of him, and compared it to Geoff's on YouTube and I don't think he will have any weight issues now, he should find it a lot easier than he did! Good luck to him (but not too much :) )

I thought I'd held that title every year. Probably since about 1989.

I've just had a ride up to Epping & back with them. They seem to be holding up well, despite me being in disgrace for not bringing any tea.

We met up with Geoff at West Hampstead - we had no tea as we'd guessed wrong where they were going from H&W and had to make a sudden switch, in the end I think they were on the third train through and we only spotted Richie because of his bright neon yellow jacket. Nice to finally meet Geoff though :)

After that we rode with them for a few spot into Baker Street - we did offer to do tea duties but got turned down, so headed off to do a south of the river challenge which ran aground fairly quickly - the record time seems tough to beat as we only had ddelays worthy of note at two stations and we were well outside the record. Still a fun new challenge.

We slipped in lunch and a few pints during the day which livened things up - we were tempted to go out to try to find them again in the evening but it sounded like they had supplies lined up so we headed off for a Chinese :D

Or alternatively just look at Geoff's own advertised twitter feed to see that they missed Olympia so therefore didn't even get a completion.

Well they only missed Olympia, and that was due to the late-night Olympia trains being cancelled.

It's been mentioned a lot on their Breakfast Show already... But they did only manage the 269 sadly. Lots of delays during the day apparently, I was only there along with Matt, Chris and Vicki at the end.

Journey Planner had an advertised Olympia service, one train every 30 minutes, from around 10.30am. However the Olympia service wasn't running all day - just the normal few trains in the evening and early morning. VERY interesting...

Similarly, today, the Journeyplanner data for today, shows an Olympia service every 30 minutes.

I wonder if it will run...?

So yesterday and today are the only days that any of us will ever listen to Absolute Radio then?
