That's a good shout yes I can park at Radius Pk and squeeze possibly one extra person in the car, depends if ping pon comes or not as 3 seats will already be taken.....
What about any other potential challengers though, unless I do a shuttle service

I still think that is better than heading back into Central London though, although on the downside the 1st person to Hatton X could have an hour or more to wait until the others turn up...... There's not a lot in the area other than the bus station, which you have already seen or the Green Man Pub 5 mins across the road.......

That would be a great help and I think the timings should work out well assuming we can get the ball rolling at 1130 ish.......

So I would suggest that once you have finished go to Hatton Cross and cross over the main road then follow this round for approx 300 metres (road curves to the left) where you will see the Green Man Pub on the left hand side of the road...... This is opposite the estate where Soup Dragon works....... Once we are all there it a short drive to Ashford.....

Another plan - though we are getting into overkill maybe here - is we don't meet up afterwards. Just checked engineering works, and it seems Saturday 1st could be good for a SLAM. So, we could do the snake, go home secretly guarding our times, all meet up for a SLAM the next day and then do a double reveal in the pub on Sat night? Depends how free everyone is Saturday, and if I was right about the engineering works. Thoughts?

I will probably give this a miss as we have Z1/Z2 on the 8th Nov, not that I have a clue for a route on this beast of a challenge yet.....

Epping - Woodford - Hainault - Stratford - Waterloo - Elephant & Castle - Stockwell - Victoria - Mile End - Bank - Euston (either via Farringdon/Barbican or Angel/Old Street) - Tottenham Court Road - Holborn - Leicester Square - Charing Cross - Baker Street - Wembley Park - Rayners Lane - Ealing Common - Ealing Broadway - Bond Street - Green Park - Gloucester Road - High Street Kensington - Earls Court - Acton Town - Heathrow T4 - Heathrow T123 - Heathrow T5.

So maybe different teams can use different routes to make the challenge more interesting?

According to this, TfL Bus Passes, Travelcards and Oyster Cards are accepted on 555 (and, similarly, on 557) as far country-bound as Sunbury Cross, "at a flat cash fare of £1.00", whatever that means.

So if you show them an Oyster PAYG, do you pay £1 or (£1.00 + £0.90 =) £1.90 or £2 or what?

Not sure about this as we are doing a rally start then perhaps all teams should follow the same route as in a rally....

Different routes could be adopted if teams start at the same time perhaps.....
Lets say we have 4 teams, the teams drawn 1 & 2 depart together and one team takes Antony's toute and the other Peter's. You would only be together for the first two changes the split coming at London Bridge....
Then the teams drawn 3 & 4 depart within 20 mins and follow the above......
