Starkey - your Z1 record with Jamie was at the Tube Olympics Z1 in 2008.

Incidentally, further up Geoff states your old record was set on Z1 day when you went out and repeated your route again later the same day - as I remember, this was the year of the Westminster start and your route meant you repeated the first two stations - so for Z1 you submitted 2h47 but you claimed a record by retiming from Southwark.

Glad I've clouded that up :)

I presume NR trains are also allowed to connect between LU stations too - not just bus or foot?
After you, madam - I'll wait for the next direct train to Mill Hill East.

Why do teams need to be made in advance? Why can't we just make them up on the day, and have our team photos taken for Geofftech prior to the draw (or at the post competition meeting point) as has happened previously for the Zone 1 Challenge.

Well, I make that sweeping statement surmising from the old Geofftech which contained said photos.

Yes, it's particularly useful for a certain stretch between an NR terminus and an otherwise difficult station.

I bet that's the route I have in mind... :)

I think it would be really funny if Oxford Circus came out. Don't know why, I guess the rush to get to the start and plan your route would become rather more laid back :P heehee

Presuming that certain meeting place traditions continue, of course...

As Geoff's de facto sidekick I reserve the right to contribute something to proceedings. I believe he suggested I do the name pulling in an email a while ago so he can't change his mind now. :)
