?? Nope! I got 16 hours, 50 minutes and 5 seconds (269 stations!)

That was my mistake - I misunderstood a Twitter post.

Re: Two Attempts Today

Well you know what Geoff's like for mischievous posts ... I couldn't tell you whether he was trying to mislead anyone or not. All I know is that he has a good route, and if he gets Olympia in next time (whenever that is) he could be on for the record.

Re: Two Attempts Today

He worked out that if there had been an Olympia train then he would still have got a good time, because he spent 20 minutes waiting for one! If that is true then i Submit my time of September 2008 to World record status as the time would have been 17h 05m You cant second guess what his next train a...

Re: Two Attempts Today

I think Geoff's point is that had they managed to do Olympia quickly, without waiting, the time would have been a very good one for all 270 stations.

Team Scrawley-Brown suffered signal failure on the Victoria line and shot their load too early.

Re: Two Attempts Today

I met both teams at Rickmansworth and travelled with them down to Moor Park, up to Watford and then back to North Harrow.

There, I've given away the route now, so you can all go out and set world records if you like.

Re: Tubeguru gets a new job

A question for you though, unless I'm thinking of something completely wrong, but I thought the TGS was always stopped at the platform if the platform is short? Only because I remember stopping at Kemble once and I was in first class and all i could see out the window was the embankment..no platfor...

Just thought I'd tell you that :P

Are you saying your (isolating) cock is bigger and more prominent than Neil's?

His trains are newer than mine, and not built in the 70's.

Re: Tubeguru gets a new job

Well, after two weeks off work, and next week to follow, I went for a drive to Swansea yesterday afternoon to ease myself back into it. I wish I'd stayed at home now. The only incident of note on the way down was a trespasser on the line at St. Fagan's, which is not exactly unheard of. I gave him a ...
